Jeff Haymore’s career advising elected officials and planning staff on land use matters makes him uniquely equipped to advise private practice clients. He can anticipate local government objections and concerns while leveraging his experience to create a successful strategy for obtaining land use entitlement for developers, owners, and other real estate professionals.
Jeff focuses his practice on litigating real estate and zoning matters, navigating the highly regulated environment governing land use and development and resolving matters on behalf of property owners, builders and developers across Georgia.
Jeff has litigated zoning and land use matters at the state, federal and appellate level courts for more than 13 years. Clients benefit from his collaborative and solution-oriented approach to real estate issues. His extensive experience enables him to analyze complex legal matters from unique perspectives to reach the best outcome in every situation.
Prior to DIllard Sellers, Jeff was with Pursley Friese Torgrimson and served as an attorney for the City of Atlanta. During his tenure he litigated zoning matters for many of Atlanta’s landmark developments and a range of real estate and land use matters including annexation, building permits, code enforcement, comprehensive planning, condemnation and sign ordinances. His relationships with elected officials, city staff and the community and reputation as a problem solver allows him to successfully advocate and negotiate on behalf of his clients.
Jeff earned his law degree from Georgia State University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. He also holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning from Georgia Institute of Technology.
