Jeff Haymore has litigated zoning and land use matters at the state, federal and appellate courts for nearly two decades, enabling him to anticipate local government objections and concerns. With experience advising elected officials and planning staff on land use issues, Jeff is equipped to help real estate clients develop a successful strategy for obtaining land use entitlement for developers, owners, and other real estate professionals.
Offering a collaborative and solution-oriented approach, Jeff navigates highly regulated land use and development matters and analyzes complex legal matters from all perspectives to reach the best outcome for clients.
He has experience in urban, suburban and rural jurisdictions with residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects of all sizes. He is currently lead counsel to a consultant firm hired to rewrite the City of Atlanta’s zoning ordinance, a multi-year effort.
As a former City of Atlanta attorney, Jeff litigated zoning matters for many of the city’s landmark developments and handled real estate and land use matters ranging from building permits and code enforcement to comprehensive planning and annexation. His continued relationships with elected officials, city staff and community members are an asset to his clients.
